Right?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I think so. Why?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is the story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Story of Bandhavgarh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Famous Tiger Reserve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There was no fence around the tiger reserve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So people from the fringe villages walked in to the core areas often.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And there were many tiger encounters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many were tiger-killed. \ud83d\ude2d\ud83d\ude2d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They needed to go to core area in search of food.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because they were food insufficient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Whatever food they grew, could sustain them for only 3 months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Click the link below to download the Report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It gives you an inkling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\nhttps:\/\/clarionn.greenbandhavgarh.in\/build-on-your-strength\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The obvious solution was to find out alternative sources of livelihoods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Road and communication facilities were bad in 2011.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt will be an achievement even if you reach there safe!\u201d \ud83e\udd23\ud83e\udd23The MD told me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I reached safe, and well.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I enjoyed the train journey and then the khatara bus \ud83d\ude8c journey from the station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I saw inefficient agriculture practices when I reached there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ladies were in Ghunghats, not to speak to outsiders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I spoke to the KVK scientists if they could provide a training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They refused saying that it is too deep in the forest area where I worked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They would prefer conducting a training at the Block office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I wondered as to how to bring the ladies who were hardly out of their homes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At best they could go to the forest!!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And that was for food.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What on earth was a training?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They were bewildered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then I had a breakthrough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I mobilised the ladies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And the Gents, because of the ladies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I trained them with practices that would be more productive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I taught them tricks which we call as \u2018organic practices\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Click the link below to download the Report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It gives you an inkling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\nhttps:\/\/clarionn.greenbandhavgarh.in\/build-on-your-strength\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Fast forward in 2015, these ladies had formed a federation that had Rs.56 lakhs in their corpus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They could get appointments from the District Collector in 10 minutes, whenever required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83e\udd67They received 17 awards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83c\udf2eThe then Chief Minister of Gujrat Mr. Narendra Modi, awarded the farmer delegation which we sent to Gujrat to attend a Farmer Conference (Krishak Sammelan) in 2013.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83c\udf5fThey got into the District governing Board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83c\udf2dThey had broken the Mustard production record of Madhya Pradesh.&nbsp;&nbsp; The max-min production was 24-12 qntls per acre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83e\udd60They could utilise the schemes for Tribal to have 3 phase electricity lines at 90% subsidy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83c\udf86\ud83c\udf86\ud83c\udf86\ud83c\udf86<strong>We managed to enhance livelihoods manifold!!!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Click the link below to download the Report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It gives you an inkling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\nhttps:\/\/clarionn.greenbandhavgarh.in\/build-on-your-strength\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The food-scarce pocket became food sufficient within 4 years time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWhy do you need the project anymore?\u201d quipped the person from the funding agency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She was watching the long queue of farmers outside the \u2018Society\u2019 to sell their surplus produce.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The point here is,&nbsp; a solution was devised for that pocket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So can we not devise customized solution for farmers at each place?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Can we allow them to formulate the policies which will be beneficial for them?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Can we support and accept their decisions?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Click the link below to download the Report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It gives you an inkling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\nhttps:\/\/clarionn.greenbandhavgarh.in\/build-on-your-strength\n<\/div><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>First of all, we need to think that there is a solution.
