{"id":335,"date":"2021-03-24T10:34:51","date_gmt":"2021-03-24T10:34:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/leadingwithsangeeta.com\/?p=335"},"modified":"2021-03-24T10:34:53","modified_gmt":"2021-03-24T10:34:53","slug":"the-lesson-one-learns-at-30-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leadingwithsangeeta.com\/index.php\/2021\/03\/24\/the-lesson-one-learns-at-30-2\/","title":{"rendered":"The lesson one learns at 30"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>It is at least 5 years of work already after the university on an average.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp; wide eyed excitement at getting on with life at 25, as described in \u2018The Strangest secret \u2018, has just begun to appear normal, nothing something look forward to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The office has several combo of people who appear to be getting ahead despite you.<\/li><li>They were going nowhere when you joined.<\/li><li>You are volte faced because nobody acknowledges the fact that you have been the catalyst.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Then what happens?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Why the accounting person so difficult?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Why the junior in the other department cracks a joke while you are around?&nbsp; And it felt to be indecent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Now, tell me if these things are happening when you are 30 years old, or later?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My point here is : to explore whether one is still teachable at this point of time. This is the precise age when one starts feeling the need of another skill\/degree\/qualification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Is he\/she teachable?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"35\" height=\"36\" src=\"\" alt=\"Rectangle: Rounded Corners: \u03a9\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;your performance tracker doesn\u2019t show a tick on \u2018gaining a new skill\u2019, which is why the frustration happening in the first place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Perhaps you have been escaping that<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"35\" height=\"36\" src=\"\" alt=\"Rectangle: Rounded Corners: \u03a9\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The second thing is you have not written a feeler page in your journal since last few month.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; You have been avoiding jotting down in your journal<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"35\" height=\"36\" src=\"\" alt=\"Rectangle: Rounded Corners: \u03a9\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; And instead, the party time has increased.&nbsp;&nbsp; Socializing too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Perhaps you do not find learning to be easy anymore.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Did you try to learn something from a colleague?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How easy or difficult has that been?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Note : A significant part of my experience comes from <a href=\"http:\/\/greenbandhavgarh.in\/\">Bandhavgargh<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It is at least 5 years of work already after the university on an average.
