I observed something this morning, about being ‘Worthy’.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I requested one of my senior colleagues to make the language forceful,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 of the  report I am doing right now. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is a prestigious task, and he could not believe that I asked.                       <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He asked twice.   And when I emphasized the point I am making..  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

he appeared overtly delighted.                          <\/p>\n\n\n\n

 I mean, I thought he always knew that I appreciated his command over the language.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But he did not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Perhaps he wanted me to spell it out frequently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I will do that.               <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I mean, he now listens to me attentively;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 and this contributes somewhat me feeling worthy too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This also means that I thought he did not appreciate my views ever;  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

vicious circle of thoughts;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unnecessarily clouding the mind;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And we do not realize.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To tell it honestly,   I was amazed at my own stupidity..<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I realized my power!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That I can win over colleagues<\/p>\n\n\n\n

only if I am appreciative enough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Especially when they are senior to me!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And even more<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If  we are senior to them with experience<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In certain areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This particular colleague of mine,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Respected my experience always<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While I was thinking that he kind of discounts me always..<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It may be partly true,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But what was important from today\u2019s encounter<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Was<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That everybody loves admiration,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And honest appreciation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We need to do that first<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before expecting appreciation back..<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It needs to be proactive everyday<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Especially when it concerns relationship\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do please pay hid to that..<\/p>\n\n\n\n
