What do you do if every 3 years you start feeling stuck?

Or

Suppose you had to leave a job because the husband shifted to another city?

I am talking to women especially.

So here is something you need to find out yourself…

If money and opportunity were not your concern,. What job would you have liked to do.. I m sure. It would take you to those kind of task like..

Like. It does not make any sense…but you like.

So do not get inhibited, and keep writing them, the person hiding inside you is the inner child who was never heard.

Do allow it to be open to you let it tell whatever it wants to tell you . And do not be shocked because, it can have a thing or two of wisdom you had never known..

Use pen n paper.

For those of you who are hard core realists, it would be difficult at first, but allow the flow

Secondly,. Do acknowledge your own self doing things which are not core to yourself, you feel like that.

But perhaps you have spent about 6 to 7 years or more doing those jobs

And then suddenly you feel it is not the task you wanted.

First of all, it is normal that none of us want to be in one kind of role for life.

Some promotions here there still makes us do the same kind of thing .

And then we look for another role.

We get into that and after some time we feel that it is not amazing after all.

So chart out a 0.1% connection between all those profiles. If there is more common threads than you thought, the better

That indicates your versatility, your range of experience, if it is Zero linking thread. Else it is a huge untold story there, waiting to be woven around your personality.

..The third is. Which companies you fancy to be working with?

List out 10 such companies

And write why you want to work there

Once done, see if there are any published job in those. If not, then with a little research, you can write to their senior management about where you can help them accelerate their growth

Well, you might think that it is absurd to claim like that,

And I agree.

That is why I am asking you to do the 3 exercises I want you to dio.

Beyond the outcome

Go through Chapter 1 as I read it here.

I was reading Thaddeus Lawrence’s “Run away Success”. He is a person who teaches inner championing.

He is from Singapore. I highly respect him.

Yesterday I went though Chapter 1.

He is talking about Ultra Endurance.

Don’t give up when you feel like giving up.

Utterly exhausted.

Body does not support.

Mind goes blank.

And you face a glass ceiling- feels like you are out of the race despite your best shot.

Prior to that, there is something else.

Very well meaning people in your life, your own, will try to say something for your safe upkeep.

Which in fact might demoralize you.

The best does not happen all the time. When you are slugging, one out of 10 may stand out, which means,

One task in 10 may get the brilliance that catches eye.

Rest of it will be may be average.

I tell you what…

Just don’t care. Do that 10 seconds endurance. In the AMC course, one exercise that goes on for 20 minutes is spreading out the arms and holding for 2.5 minutes at each posture till it goes into Parvatasana at the 17.5 minutes mark. One feels endurance to some sort.

At the 5 minute mark, you will hear the yelling in the hall… Crying too, sounds of desperation.. but by the 12 minutes mark, it all starts to die down.. why?

Because,

the worst is gone just after the half way mark, and although it still pains, the hope takes over. And the pain does not hurt as much.

It is just a mindset that tweaks itself there..because the arms were not rested at half way mark anyways..

Still,

the sense of being through with the ordeal at that moment, underplays the outcome. It is the journey.

Pure journey.

You will never know what awaits you besides the outcome.

An exciting exercise

While listening to the goal setting message from my accountability mentor, and long time friend, I felt that I need to be assertive about what I am saying.

That makes my goal setting more compelling.

What I mean is, when I say Rs. 1.5 lakh per month is my goal – it does not do anything to my killer instinct. So what propels me is if I kill inefficiency.

What all I decide right now to do

๐Ÿ›’ Show the time and involvement it takes to bring results from the team

๐Ÿ›’ Engaging with the field team to take action

๐Ÿ›’ It will be my time – till action is taken at central office. If it takes them 2 days to send me a form; it will be 2 days of follow up time from me.

๐Ÿ›’ More time of involvement implies more revenue

๐Ÿ›’ 2 states to 5 states in Northern India and North East – Punjab, Jharkhand, Tripura, Manipur, and Nagaland (in terms of time) –

๐Ÿ›’ Proportionately : Rs. 30k for 2 states +Rs. 25k per state in North East x 3 = Rs. 1.05 lakhs minimum

๐Ÿ›’ New ideas for engagement – community greening!!!!! Wow (avenue for global intervention at the same time – using online platforms – Influencing)

๐Ÿ›’Sweet spot – Get the team members to the next level.. Extension of my leadership growth online coaching)

๐Ÿ›’ Becoming All time Consultant for the organization encompassing North and South, East, West and all zones ..

๐Ÿ›’ Networking with International partners for them

๐Ÿ›’ Formula for scaling up (more organizations to give consultancy to) – this needs to be figured out going forward

๐Ÿ›’ Evolving expertise (in 2 years of time) – Networking with Venture capitalists with AgriTech inclination

What I love the most is to pinch people on their inefficiency. That drives me the most. It frustrates me when people can change their circumstances just with a little tweak in their mindset…

This was something happening to me for long years, before I realized.. hence do not want it to be a dilemma in anybody.

People who are looking for a goal will be excited with my offer.

Inner stature will allow them to see or unsee..

Will wait for my kind!!

Reporting is an efficiency formula in Leadership Growth

Mr. Venkat Balla is an excellent person to pick up things which he needs to implement at work.

Last 3 weeks he did not find time to come to the 121 session that I planned for him.

Actually, he came to my training in the first place because he was not achieving as much growth compared to the hard work he was putting up.

And I knew he was my type- loves his work so much so that at times he is taken for granted. Because he forgets to draw a line between what he needs to do and what he has to learn; Senior management also forgets to reward him adequately.

When finally he joined yesterday, I told him this. I also told him that he is committing the same mistake as I keep committing and pay for it.

I gave him a tracker to see how much time he is able to allocate for his own self development, while not escaping any of the responsibilities. Actually, he can be more efficient now.

He agreed on 3 things :

๐ŸŽ‰ He did not allocate for family time

๐ŸŽ‰ He is working for more than 50 hours a week against 48 hours that is maximum and

๐ŸŽ‰ He has not sent any report to his boss or super boss – it was just communication over phone..

Can you see the mistakes of a Manager Cadre person who deserves two jumps at any moment now, but not helping his organization as to on what basis they will do so?

For every level, it is the first time first day. So when I say that I support โ€˜first time managersโ€™, people at senior level come to the discussion call with an advice for the junior participants.

My blessing, that I can pick golden nuggets from them.

I get very senior to my discussion call with a lot of humility, so much so that when I call address them by name, they are pleasantly surprised.

When that happens, I know that it is my learning time as a coach.

I ask a question, and I listen to them.

With each question, they go to further humility as their soft words roar about their accomplishments!!!

Wow!!

I am in that profession on line, that brings me these opportunities every now and then.

My question here will be:   ๐˜ผ๐™ง๐™š ๐™ฎ๐™ค๐™ช ๐™๐™ช๐™ข๐™—๐™ก๐™š ๐™š๐™ฃ๐™ค๐™ช๐™œ๐™?

Because

That will save you the unease of commanding people senior in age and experience than you.

Excellence is not a skill, it is an attitude โ€“ Ralph Marston.

And when it comes to โ€˜delegatingโ€™ task, it will be โ€˜quality supportโ€™ from them.

 If you have a gift of ๐—–๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐˜€๐—ฝ ๐—–๐—ผ๐—บ๐—บ๐˜‚๐—ป๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป,  in 3 sublime words,  you can give a feedback while explaining your expectation.

A feedback can glorify the less than satisfactory work, because it is ๐˜‚๐˜€๐—ฒ๐—ณ๐˜‚๐—น ๐—ฑ๐—ถ๐—ณ๐—ณ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜๐—น๐˜†.

Only if you know how to.

When words do not do enough, the genuineness comes to play.

First time Managers who have been upgraded to this position can do well to be on track with leadership growth.

For seniors who have been stuck, despite being efficient, I would point out at two things; one of humility and the other is communication.

By the way, I would have recently started noticing that people at high seniority level are getting stuck because of inexperience in digital communication. 

It is fairly easy for them to master this, though, if only they agree to do so.

For,

It is hampering their branding and agility.

Simply put, they are perceived as cumbersome and inflexible.  

I suggest they start shooting one liner emails frequently, and get done with a presentation in 10 minutes that can be explained over 5 minutes and can attract curiosity for one hours plus..

Fourfold n lifetime

I got introduced to somebody in LinkedIn last week.

Wohin pe mera Kam chalte rehta hei

Some exchanges happened.

I suggested that with one price I can overdeliver fourfold.

And asked him if that was okay.

He asked what use that will be.

I told him the reasons he could see.

And added – from the choice of words he sounded like having less than 6 years of experience.

And that might jeopardise his chances in qualifying in interviews.

He replied, yes it was 5.5 years.

And asked, how much he had to spend?

I quoted the amount, which is almost double the usual amount I charge, but immediate service will be fourfold at the least, even more than that,, if I add a bonus.

But added… It’s lifetime.

Next time he wants the same service, he won’t have to spend.

Fair deal, right?

Intense deliberate creation

Phase wise realisation has started happening
Especially In the family goal to welcome 2023.
Something i visualized in my earlier vision board, in my apartment at Saket, where covid happened and so did my entry to MMC
I liked a picture in the newspaper, which looked very similar to my idea of relationship
Which never took place leaving me with a sense of unworthiness,
Is finally replaced with conviction of that dream relationship, pushing unworthiness from my thought process .
Best gift from the universe on a Christmas day.
Abhi I know that this was the only thing holding me back.. with the clarity now comes the phase of manifestation.. Can’t yet believe it, but nevertheless

Have you ever left a group without telling?

Well, I felt like doing so,too.

I think most of us feel like that, because of the noise around, by people who want their message to be heard.

And we do not want to listen.

Quite logical.

We can not be disturbed just like that.

But here is what I have to say.

Did you join the group on your own?

Did you give permission to a friend to add you in a group?

Did you ask in the group as to why people are not making any noise at all?

Was it a friend with whom you have spoken for few times off line already?

If so, just bring yourself to give a reason why you are leaving so that

there is a chance of getting explained as to why

you were put in there in the first place.

For me, I want newly introduced friends to be in a group, so that I can come back to them whenever I have time.

For me, most of them do not respond easily.

I am reaching out to people who are stuck.

and feeling angry

and a bit frustrated!

And so much so that

they almost are feeling vengeance.

against their own self. bechara type.

What I suggest is, just tell that you do not find value anymore, and

want to get out of this circle altogether.

jah!

and gone.

At least one knows, why you left.

Communication and courtesy are the bottomline.

If that person didn’t display it, you do it at lealst.

No?.

Control and let go

“I asked for Pizza today of a certain flavor”- she told me.

And it was delivered to me in an hour. An extra too because the one that was delivered did not have mushroom which she ordered.”

I get chocolates as soon as I wished. My thoughts travelled in a speed of 10 to the power 100; once upon a time”.

She was ruing about the fact that her prayers are not taking effect lately.”within 16 days I will slim, and shall have jet black hair and also get married, for sure. I dont have time left. I also have to materialize a job” .. She shared and I was listening.

All the time I wished her things beyond logicality, so that she would be happy.

She is, after all, my friend.

I love home cooked food, and loved it which is almost boil food.

I feel filled only with this kind of food.

And it is no torture for me.

Can we not take a decision with food, to stay slim, keep our cool and do not have dependence on the Universe about things which we can manage on our own.

Can we not let go of pizza, for that matter?
